More ways to see what I've been up to

Here are some other ways to contact me and to see more of my work:

My Society6 site is now up and running. People can buy my designs as art prints as well as on different products like throw cushions and iPhone cases.

My Behance page is available to have a first-hand look at my projects and work in progress.

I usually Instagram my work in progress.

And I have also just joined the Twitter family. Finally!

More Exotic

I've decided to expand on my exotic theme from my second year project because I enjoyed it so much so I've been coming up with some designs to make it into a full collection. Here are some of the designs I've created so far, I will be working on different colour ways and more designs over the next few months.

Foxglove

I've been working on quite a few new designs lately for different interiors collection ideas I've got floating around in my head. I just can't seem to paint them fast enough! Here's the progress of my foxglove design.

Geometrics

I've been working on a geometrics project for interiors fabrics since I last posted (also trying to make sure my Photoshop skills don't get too rusty). I took inspiration from various aspects of architecture like buildings, bridges, ceilings and floorings as well as from different gemstones. I decided on a grey scheme with splashes of bright colours to create a modern colour pallette. Here are some of my favourites.

Now...

So now I'm back to the drawing board and I'm getting back into the swing of designing to keep my portfolio up to date. I'll be posting them soon, but for now here's two of my favourite doodles for you to look at...

Commissioned work

I've been asked to draw and paint some pieces over the past few months, mostly of their pets, but I have had a try at people too. I've really enjoyed going back to the basics and concentrating on the detail and I like the simple look of my pencil drawings but I think my favourite would have to be Hendrix the parrot, probably because I know how much work went into them feathers!

Christmas cards

I made some cards for my family and friends this Christmas. It was my first attempt at making cards since my second year in uni and I quickly started to regret choosing to give my designs so many cut out sections because I had a few accidents with the knife! I am really happy with the final products though and maybe if I start earlier next Christmas, then I can build on a bigger collection. Here are some of them.
